This online academy exists to bring enlightenment and guidance to young people through teaching and training in reason, logic and applying that skill to important issues, including ethics. The U.S. needs young leaders who know where they are going and to get there, they need to understand that first and foremost, they must care about what is true and right, and use sound reasoning skills to arrive at positions and views which represent truth and rightness. Unfortunately, you can see the consequences of the lack of critical thinking skills in society today.

Hello, and thank you for considering taking one or more of my classes! I am passionate about what I teach and have many years of teaching experience, both live in-person/in-classroom as well as online. I believe you will find I have exceptional thinking and reasoning skills, and that I use those skills - combined with my passion and 'make-it-easy-to-understand' method - to enlighten others about the vitally important topics represented in my course offerings.

Bio

I am married to my lovely wife Rianna, and have four children, all boys. Our youngest has Down Syndrome. We home-schooled our sons, one through high school and three through middle school. One of our sons graduated from a public high school with Summa Cum Laude honors.

I have taught people for many years. In the earliest years, I taught K12 aged children about the importance of the natural environment, particularly biology. While working to support information technology systems in the K12 domain, I taught administrators and teachers how to use enterprise computer systems to keep track of student performance. When helping create software to be used in Homecare and Hospice, I have been asked to present my knowledge of those businesses at national user conferences.

Since I was 27 years old, my primary passion has been pursuing philosophy regarding existential, spiritual, and religious issues. This pursuit has enabled me to develop my reasoning skills and present important matters in a clear and compelling manner to others. I have published two books in those domains.

My hobbies include golf, and managing our property in rural USA. I have literally designed and built the house we are currently living in - a 2,800 square foot, two-story house - by myself with some help from my wife, children, and a few friends : )

I received a Bachelor's Degree in Science from the University of Vermont, Burlington, Vermont.

Master's Degree in Business

Sep 1985 - Dec 1987

I reveived a Master Degree in Business from PACE University, White Plains, New York.
