Critical thinking is perhaps the most important skill we need to develop as individuals, and yet reason and logic are not required in general education at any level. We cannot know what is true or false in any domain if we don't know how to reason well. Emotions and feelings are taking the place of reason and that has very negative consequences.
We also desperately need to apply logic to ethics to be able to determine what ethical frameworks are sound and which are erroneous. If we are making judgments from within an inferior ethical framework, we should not expect those judgments to be right, wise or beneficial. This academy advocates and defends the superior moral framework of Moral Objectivism.
